Common Applications of ISMC 225
ISMC 225 is used for intermediate floor beams, back-to-back channel columns in prefabricated industrial buildings, heavy stair stringers, and crane gantry runway channels in 3 to 5 tonne capacity applications. Because it is less commonly stocked than ISMC 200 and ISMC 250, lead times from distributors may be 3–5 days for non-stocked orders. SAIL and JSW Steel produce ISMC 225 in IS 2062 E250 grade.
