Common Applications of ISMC 175
ISMC 175 is used for back-to-back channel columns in light prefabricated structures, intermediate floor beams in mezzanines, gantry runway channels for 2–3 tonne EOT cranes, and heavy stair stringers. Like ISMC 225, this is a less commonly stocked size — verify availability with your supplier before specifying. SAIL and JSW Steel produce ISMC 175 in IS 2062 E250 grade.
