ISMC 150 is among the most stocked C-channel sizes in Indian steel yards. It is specified for purlins and girts in portal frame buildings up to 15 m span, intermediate floor beams in light mezzanines, stair stringers in multi-floor industrial buildings, lintel beams over openings up to 3.5 m, and running tracks for small sliding gates. SAIL, JSW Steel, and Vizag Steel all produce ISMC 150 in IS 2062 E250 grade.
